Chelsea were trounced by Liverpool at Anfield, and for the second game in a row their goalkeeper was their man of the match.

Djordje Petrovic got an impressive 7.2 rating, far clear of anyone else in the team. He made many good saves – but still couldn’t keep out 4 goals from Jurgen Klopp’s rampant Reds.

WhoScored’s player ratings for Chelsea show what they made of their individual performances – not much. The team’s average was 6.2.

Ben Chilwell, Noni Madueke, Thiago Silva and Moises Caicedo all got a rating lower than a 6. The whole team were pretty overawed by the whole experience. Conor Gallagher only made it to half time and Cole Palmer had his most anonymous game in Blue. The list goes on.

At least we’ve got Petrovic, a concrete success from this season. Robert Sanchez will be back fit soon, but he will have to work for his place in the team back.
