Every round of the X Games Showdown has given us an impressive display of local skate shop talent across the country, and today's match is no exception. Faces (Tempe, Arizona) and 303 (Denver, Colorado) both dropped incredible edits this morning, making this round one of the toughest yet. Peep them both below!

Faces (Tempe, Arizona)

303 (Denver, Colorado)

With Dashawn Jordan leading the pack for Faces, both as a team rider and co-founder, and a solid crew of local up-and-comers waving the Faces flag high, these dudes packed a lot of heat into their two-minute edit. From some classic Arizona spots to some new little gems, the diversity and creativity this squad hit us with is something to see.

That said, the 303 squad has ALWAYS been stacked with heavy-hitters and these dudes have always had Denver on lock. With tricks from David Reyes and the rest of this talented gang of rippers, no spot is safe from this ambitious crew. From start to finish, they came out swinging and it's hard to ignore the amount of work they put into this edit. Banger after banger after banger! Those last few tricks are the real deal.

We've worked with 303 quite a bit over the years and I've always admired what they've done—and continue to do—for their local scene. And although Faces is Arizona's newest shop, their connections and ambition to create a community of their own in Tempe has already earned them a right of passage with local skaters in the area.

Both shops are major parts of what make these local communities so awesome, from hosting events to providing a place for local skaters to hang out, meet up and spend some time at their beloved homes away from home

Voting for this round ends tonight (May 7) at midnight! So if you're feeling one of these edits, click here and cast your vote.

But again, beyond the voting and brackets, every one of the shops involved in this contest are local heroes in their own right. And at the end of the day, this is a great way to shine some light on the folks who are doing everything they can to keep the vibes high in their local scenes. Support your local!
