The Wokcano Restaurant and Club in Santa Monica, Califnoria will have special performances tonight by Grammy nominated singer Lisa Loeb, Canadian stars Hedley Michael Johns (American Idol 2008 Finalist), Los Angeles-based singers Brett Dennen and Pete Yorn, Geffen Records’ young Griffith Frank (from the 9 soundtrack), stars of the Celebrity Café series Bascom Hill, and finally the hosts’ own group, Bryan Brothers Band, featuring Counting Crows drummer Jim Bogios – with a late night jam session featuring Josh Osswald and his all-star band.

The concert benefits the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research and the Bryan Brothers Foundation. The Bogart Program provides funding to pediatric cancer research at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, while the Bryan Brothers Foundation is a non-profit group to provide support for various kid-centric agencies.

Admission is $25 (tax deductible!) and with your donation, you’ll receive a complimentary Grand Slam Jamarita provided by Metl Tequila.

The Tennis Grand Slam Jam will be held at the Malibu Racquet Club on Saturday, Oct. 23. The clinic will be held with both Coach Bryan and Mike and Bob Bryan at 1:00. A Pro Am showing will be from 2:00-4:30 and an Exhibition with the Bryan Brothers, Sam Querrey, Sloane Stephens, and Lilia Osterloh will take place from 4:30-6:30.

Bob and Mike, who also won the tournament 2009, will look to maintain their perfect record of 9 and 0 in finals matches this season when they face the fierce Pole squad of Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski in the final.

The Bryans are on a phenomenal run as of recent, and have reached their fourth consecutive final. They have won back-to-back titles at both the Masters Tournaments in Toronto and Cincinnati just before clinching the ninth major title for the pair during the US Open. The duo has one single match since a quarter-final exit at Wimbledon.

The top seeded Bryans came up against strong competitorsin the form of Lu and Mayer, saving one set point during the first set tie break just before clinching the one set lead. They came through in the 78th minute and were able to clinch seventh game of the second set.

The number one doubles pair in the world, Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan, have advanced to their 10th final match of the 2010 season this past Saturday with a 7-6(8), 6-4 victory over Yen-Hsun Lu and Florian Mayer during the China Open in Beijing.
